W7, a low cost british makeup brand (I think), came out with what is a great, exactly I'd say, dupe of it. I love the Nails Inc Sprinkles collection for its originality and I bought Sweets Way months ago, but I didn't think I would have found a 'sprinkle' dupe so soon. And so affordable too!

W7, un marchio britannico (credo) di make-up low cost, se n'è uscito con quello che è un ottimo, perfetto direi, suo dupe. Mi piace un sacco la collezione Sprinkles Nails Inc soprattutto per la sua originalità e avevo già acquistato Sweets Way alcuni mesi fa, ma non pensavo avrei trovato un dupe 'sprinkle' tanto presto. Ed anche così conveniente!
First, the bottle does remind me the OPI one, same shape, same size. I forgot to photograph the brush (sorry) but it's an average medium brush, quite flat though.
As for the polish itself, Mosaic has royal blue and golden glitter suspended in a crème light blue base. The base here has not a jelly-like texture (unlike the Nails Inc Sprinkle I have) but it's more of a sheer true crème varnish, that can achieve opaquiness in two coats.
Just like the Nails Inc one, here the sparkle is toned down a bit by the base, creating a sort of poking-out effect (see close-up photos). Moreover, the yellowish component of the golden particles mixed with the blue varnish creates an optical illusion, as if there were greenish sparkles as well.
I was afraid it would be gloopy and a pain to apply but it's definitely not! Quite the opposite, it's a good nail polish honestly.
The formula is thinner compared with the Nails Inc Sprinkles one I have, a bit runny maybe but extremely easy to apply, without patchiness or brush strokes. There's a certain pigmentation to it too and two coats deliver a perfect (opaque) result. The drying time is also good.
Since the varnish is packed with glitter, the brush fishes out tons of particles at a time (so you can't modulate the amount of sparkles making them sparse) but they spread nicely and I'd say quite evenly onto the nail without having to adjust their position.
I don't know how its Nails Inc blue twin is but, compared to the one I have, Mosaic has a less gritty surface.
(as for the removal, obviously it's quite a pain. Just like its Nails Inc cousins and most glitter polishes)
Per primo, la boccetta mi ricorda sul serio quella OPI, stessa forma, stessa grandezza. Ho scordato di fotografare il pennello però (chiedo scusa), ma è un pennello standard di media grandezza, leggermente piatto comunque.
Per quanto riguarda invece lo smalto in sé, Mosaic è composto da glitter blu e oro sospesi in una base crème azzurra. La base qui non ha una texture simil-jelly (a differenza del Nails Inc Sprinkles che ho) ma è più un vero e proprio smalto crème sheer, che può arrivare alla giusta coprenza con due passate.
Come quello Nails Inc, anche qui le particelle glitterate sono un po' smorzate dalla base, creando l'effetto di alcuni glitter che si intravvedono attraverso lo smalto, in una sorta di trasparenza, affiancati ad altri che mantengono inalterato e non smorzato il loro luccichio (rimando alle foto zoomate).
Inoltre, la componente gialla delle particelle dorate, mixata con lo smalto azzurro, crea l'illusione ottica che ci siano anche glitter più sul verde.
Temevo che la formula fosse gommosa e un'impresa da stendere ed invece no, decisamente non lo è. Anzi, onestamente lo strovo uno smalto buono.
Dal momento poi che la boccetta è piena zeppa di glitter, il pennello pesca quantità industriali di particelle alla volta (quindi non potete disporle in modo sparso e rado) ma, gran punto a favore, queste si depositano facilmente sull'unghia, in modo abbastanza omogeneo, senza la necessità di aggiustarne la posizione.
Non posso parlare per il suo gemello blu di Nails Inc perché non l'ho mai provato ma, a confronto con quello che ho io, Mosaic ha una superficie meno ruvida.
(in merito alla rimozione, ovviamente sì, è difficile da togliere. Tanto quanto i cugini Nails Inc o la maggior parte degli smalti glitterati)

I don't have the Nails Inc version because I preferred to purchase the cheapest one but you can find a comparison here on prettydigits.blogspot.com. Can you tell which is which? Honestly, I really can't. They do look the same for me.
All in all it's a good and inexpensive polish and I'm quite impressed.
It's the perfect one if you just want to treat yourself with a "sprinkles-like" nail polish spending less than 3€/2£.
What do you think about this kind of "sprinkles" nail polishes? love/hate them?
Ovviamente il W7 qui non è un dupe del Nails Inc Sweets Way, ma è però il gemello di Pudding Lane, che è anche quello un azzurro con glitter blu e oro.
Non ho la versione Nails Inc perché ho preferito acquistare quella più economica, ma potete trovare una comparazione tra i due qui su prettydigits.blogspot.com. Riuscite a dire qual è l'uno e qual è l'altro? Io onestamente non riesco. Li trovo sono identici.
Nel complesso è un buono smalto economico e sono rimasta colpita.
È inoltre quello giusto se volete giusto togliervi lo sfizio di uno smalto "sprinkles" spendendo meno di 3€.
Voi invece che ne pensate di questa tipologia di smalti?
