I caved in. I knew it was just a matter of time before I ordered some bits from SpaceNK - which is, by the way, that shop where, if you are distracted and blown away by all those beauty wonders and absently threw a few in your cart, your heart might skip a beat once you look at the total sum (not to mention the wallet that you might hear telling you "no no no no, pretty please"). But, on the other hand, it's a sort of heaven for every makeup lover - I also saw pictures of the boutiques in London and I'll be definitely stopped by one of them in my next trip to London.

Sapevo che sarebbe stato solo questione di tempo prima che ordinassi qualcosa da SpaceNK - che, tra parentesi, è quel negozio dove se vi distraete e venite rapite da tutte quelle meraviglie e ne infilate un po' nel carrello, potrete ritrovarvi ad avere un mancamento una volta che guardate il totale (per non parlare del portafoglio che potreste sentir implorare un "no no no no, per favore dai"). Ma, al contempo, è una sorta di paradiso per ogni amante del makeup e non solo. Ho anche visto alcune foto delle boutique fisiche a Londra e una sarà sicuramente tappa obbligata in un mio futuro viaggio nella suddetta città.
I took advantage of a special offer (the discount was basically the equivalent of the shipping cost in my case) and picked up three products I had on my wishlist. I was torn to buy a pot of Kevyn Aucoin Skin Enhancer as well, but when I laid my eyes on the total price I almost fell down the desk chair. So ended up ordering "only" the other three: Laura Mercier Silk Cream foundation, Laura Mercier Radiance primer and Shu Uemura eyelash curler.

Per quest'ordine ho approfittato di un'offerta speciale (anche se lo sconto è stato praticamente l'equivalente del costo della spedizione) ed ho scelto tre prodotti che capeggiavano nella mia lista dei desideri. Avevo ciarlato un po' dei due prodotti Laura Mercier in questo post, nel caso vogliate saperne qualcosa in più. Avevo precedentemente provato dei sample e li ho adorati, quindi al momento dell'acquisto non ci ho pensato due volte. Il piegaciglia Shu Uemura poi è un altro prodotto ben noto a cui forse non servono neppure le presentazioni - diciamo ciao ai piegaciglia sfigati..."ciao cia' ".SpaceNK offers a gift wrap for free - obviously I ticked that option - and ships in Europe for 9£.
The shipping is expensive, if you ask me, and I wish there was a free-shipping threshold for us european customers too (shelling out 100£ and having to pay even 9£ more is kinda annoying), however, the shipment was fast and my order arrived after a week or so, nicely wrapped and also with two samples inside the box.
By the way, I have to blame one of those samples for my recent lust for a perfume from Acqua di Parma. Seriously, it's been years since the last time I liked a perfume this much. I'm talking about Acqua Nobile Iris. If only it wasn't so expensive...
Overall it was a good service and I'll very likely order from them again (during another special offer maybe as my wallet is still recovering).
SpaceNK offre anche la confezione regalo gratuita - potevo non barrare tale opzione? - e spedisce in Europa per 9£. La spedizione è piuttosto cara a mio avviso e mi piacerebbe se esistesse anche per noi clienti europei una soglia oltre cui poter avere la spedizione gratuita (sborsare, ad esempio, 100£ e doverne aggiungere altri 11€ non è il massimo del divertimento), tuttavia la spedizione è stata veloce e l'ordine mi è arrivato dopo una settimana circa, impacchettato in modo fine ed anche con due sample dentro alla scatola.
Ah tra l'altro, è tutta colpa di uno dei due omaggi se ora bramo ardentemente un profumo di Acqua di Parma. Davvero, erano anni che non mi piaceva un profumo a tal punto. E mi riferisco all'Acqua Nobile all'Iris. Se solo non costasse una fucilata...
Complessivamente è stato un buon servizio e molto probabilmente acquisterò di nuovo da SpaceNK (magari durante un'altra promozione, visto che il portafoglio si sta ancora riprendendo).
Ah, in caso non conosciate questo luogo di perdizione, avviso che potete trovarci marchi come Nars, Laura Mercier, REN ed anche altri un po' di nicchia come Chantecaille, Hourglass, Diptyque, Aesop e molti altri.
