Avevo sentito molte opinioni positive sui blush NYX ma non avevo mai avuto possibilità di provarne qualcuno. Per anni ho voluto provare qualche prodotto NYX (rossetti e blush in primis) ma il costo della spedizione dai rivenditori US mi frenava sempre. Di conseguenza è inutile dire che quando ho ricevuto il blogger kit da parte di NYX con questo blush rosa all'interno ne sono stata più che entusiasta.
La tonalità incontra appieno i miei gusti ed ero anche più che curiosa di testarlo e scoprire cosa stava alla base di tutto questo clamore per i blush NYX.
The name of the blush itself is really spot on as it perfectly describes the shade, which is indeed a dusty rose. It's one of those colors I usually love for an easy and fresh look with just a flush of color that makes my complexion look healthy in a sense.
In the pan it may looks quite dull, but once on the cheeks it comes alive and brightens them up.
Texture wise, it is rather smooth, not dry, not stiff and quite silky. It's also not powdery at all - which I didn't expected from such a low cost blush.
However I wasn't impressed by the pigmentation: I heard that NYX blushes are really pigmented but this is not the case. Although I'm an NC15, I have to use a brush that picks up a lot of powder and apply Dusty Rose with a heavy hand in order for it to show up well.
If you don't love super pigmented blushes and prefer the buildable ones, then you might enjoy Dusty Rose as it is quite buildable - and the fact that's not powdery even when packed on is a good plus. However I don't feel I can recommend it to an NC30 or more because I'm afraid it wouldn't show up that well.
As for the scent, I noticed it has a kind of "powdery" smell that many low cost blushes have. But that's not a big deal for me: it's undetectable once the blush is applied and after all we just don't spend our time smelling a blush, do we?
As for longevity, I'd say it's average or just slightly below and it lasts on me for about 4 hours.
Il nome del blush stesso in questo caso è davvero azzeccato visto che descrive già da sé il colore, che è appunto un rosa polvere (dusty rose). È uno di quei toni che solitamente apprezzo tantissimo per un look semplice e fresco con giusto un po' di quel colorito effetto 'salute' in viso.
Nella cialda può sembrare spento, ma una volta applicato sulle guance prende vita e le ravviva.
In quanto a texture, questa è abbastanza liscia, non dura e né troppo compatta ed è anche moderatamente setosa. Non è poi affatto polveroso - cosa che mi sarei invece aspettata da un blush tanto economico (in origine).
Tuttavia non sono rimasta troppo soddisfatta dalla pigmentazione: avevo sentito dire da molte che i blush NYX sono un sacco pigmentati ma non è questo il caso. Infatti per quanto io sia un NC15, devo comunque usare un pennello che preleva una certa quantià di prodotto e devo applicare Dusty Rose con mano pesante, se voglio che si noti.
Se non amate i blush ultra pigmentati e preferite quelli costruibili, Dusty Rose potrebbe piacervi dal momento che sì, è modulabile - ed il fatto che non sia polveroso neppure quando stratificato è sicuramente un bonus.
Non mi sento però di consigliarlo per chi ha una carnagione dal NC30 in su perché temo non si noterebbe un granché.
Per quanto concerne la fragranza invece, ho notato che ha quel tipico odore di "polvere" che si ritrova in moltissimi blush o ombretti low cost. Ma non è comunque un gran problema a mio avviso: è impercettibile una volta che il blush è applicato e, dopo tutto, non passiamo la giornata annusando un blush, credo. Spero.
Sulla durata direi che è nella media o leggermente sotto e su di me dura circa 4 ore, dopodiché praticamente svanisce.

Despite I don't usually considering the price when I review a product, since I do believe everyone has its own budget, I can't not do so this time.
At first I was disappointed by the subtle color payoff, but after a couple of tries I started to kinda like it and I find myself reaching for it from time to time but in all honesty it didn't blow me away. I'm sure though that those who like soft blushes and/or are very fair might like Dusty Rose better than me.
Also, there are better blushes out there, of course, but given the price tag Dusty Rose isn't that bad actually.

All'inizio sono rimasta delusa dalla pigmentazione leggera, ma dopo un paio di prove ha iniziato un po' a piacermi e di tanto in tanto mi ritrovo anche a cercarlo e ad usarlo, ma in tutta onestà non mi ha rapita.
Sono sicura però che coloro che preferiscono i blush soft e/o hanno una carnagione chiarissima potrebbero apprezzare Dusty Rose molto più di me.
Ci sono blush migliori là fuori, è vero, ma considerando il prezzo (originario) in realtà non è male.
Sui prezzi italiani merita però, e purtroppo, di essere aperta una parentesi qui di seguito.
Se non volete imbarcarvi in acquisti oltreoceano o oltremanica, NYX è arrivata in Italia, ebbene sì.

L'acquisto in Italia a mio vedere può andare bene per uno o due prodotti, ma se avete intenzione di fare un acquisto consistente, andate di ordini dagli USA perché la differenza nel prezzo è a dir poco notevole. Inoltre, il prezzo italiano in tutta onestà fa perdere punti al prodotto in sé, che per 4/6€ sarebbe anche 'degno di nota' e alla luce del costo in dollari posso comprendere la fama che hanno questi blush, ma per 9€ diventa un prodotto 'okay'.
